About Peninsula Plastics
Peninsula Plastics was founded in 1980 with one vacuum former in a 5,000 sq. foot facility, with the goal of becoming a custom packaging and dunnage supplier that would fit the needs of the automotive industry. Today we operate three facilities in Auburn Hills, Michigan with numerous single and twin sheet forming machines. Over the years Peninsula Plastics has expanded several times, adding full service design engineering, in house tool and pattern shop and 5-axis CNC and robotic trimming. Die cuts for OEM parts have also become one of the pillars for Peninsula Plastics steady growth.
With our three facilities and a good group of employees working on multiple shifts, we can design and manufacture many different types of thermoformed products for a wide range of industries.
We want a challenge.
We enjoy turning the concepts of our clients into professionally manufactured parts. Peninsula Plastics does all design, development, and tooling in-house, which is unique to the industry. Our thermoforming capabilities include single and twin sheet thermoforming, heavy gauge thermoforming, CNC mold making and trimming, vacuum forming, pressure forming, compression molding, and die-cut three dimensional parts. Using any or all of these methods, we can use thermoforming to produce anything our clients can dream of!
